Woo-Hoo!! The red and grey yardage is off the loom!
An eighteen inch wide eleven yard warp at 20 epi yielded nine yards of sixteen inch fabric. Photos soon.
It is a gothic cross tie up from Marguerite with a personally devised treadling [1,2,3,4,1,4,3,2,1,4] which emphasized the design in the warp direction along the stripe.
I warped this project in early February and would have been done a few weeks ago if it had not been for Mom's heart attack followed by my car accident and concussion. It is so good to be able to work the loom again, even if it is only for a bit at a time.

More weaving from my cabin retreat.
23 cards warped in blue and yellow with a single card of all blue on each side as a border.
This is in someone's colors. An interaction went something like this:
-Whatcha making?
-Tape strip.
-What's it for?
-Look at the colors and decide if you want to ask me that 7 weeks before Christmas.
-Oh....... Coffee?

I was able to spend some time with my tape looms at a lovely cabin at a local state park just before Halloween. The trees were in gorgeous color with the sugar maples all yellow and bright.
Two of the inkle tapes are obviously in honor of the holiday. The others were in tune with the autumnal colors of the season. The one above is made to the same pattern as the larger brown cotton tape posted previously, but this time in 3/2 perl cotton.

More Autumn Banding
Made another 10 feet of the autumn inkle banding. Liked the first batch so much that I made more....
Also finished knitting Hedgekid1's christmas slippers. They still need to be felted. I'm waiting until I have several things to felt in the washing machine.
My large loom is still with me, it's loanee does not have room for it yet. So, I'm going to set it up in the shed over the course of this week. If I have to walk around the thing, I might as well weave on it.
